We weren’t able to post up at the quad so didn’t get to see as many people, but grateful for everyone we met, registered and are staying in touch with going forward… Met a guy who told me he just feels like giving up. He clarified that he’s not going to hurt himself, he means he just wants to give up on all of this. He told me it seems like the people in power just keep getting worse, more corrupt, more cruel and more powerful. What’s someone like him going to be able to do about it? I told him we’re in this together, and it’s not him it’s all of us doing this together. I told him about 🖇️Powered by People and our work registering and staying in touch with this new generation of voters. If we keep it up over the next 7 months, don’t give in to despair, keep this hope alive by doing the work, we’re going to make it.
