It is proposing to: – Eliminate the Medicaid Expansion (the voters approved this in 2018 and it began to be implemented in October 2020) – Eliminate healthcare services for adults, such as prescriptions, hearing aids, dental services, and therapy services (e.g., physical, occupational, speech, and vision therapies) – Further reduce mental health services despite the document clearly identifying doing so will compound existing gaps in services – Cut provider pay by 5% across the board Nebraskans deserve better! I support healthcare and will ensure rural Nebraskans can access the care they need. We need nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals, dentist offices, clinics, etc. Rural medical providers cannot survive these proposed changes.
