The Medical Professors Association of Korea, made up of professors from 33 med schools, began holding an online meeting at 8 PM Thursday to deliberate on this decision. They say this will be their way of showing support and safeguarding junior doctors and med school students who have chosen to walk out or take leave in protest against the government’s plan to expand the med school quota.
